Paul Schneider, born March 16, 1976 in Asheville, North Carolina, USA, is an actor and comedian. He plays Brian Brenner in the HBO series The Newsroom. He is a recurring guest star in the first season and debuts in "The Blackout Part I: Tragedy Porn". He is known for his starring role in the first and second seasons of Parks and Recreation as Mark Brandanawicz. He has also appeared in the films All the Real Girls (2003), Lars and the Real Girl (2007), The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007), and Water for Elephants (2011).
