Maria Guerrero is a presenter for the Atlantic Cable News (ACN) network's ACN Morning program. She works with fellow presenter Tony Hart. ("Amen")
Biography[]
During their program Hart launches an attack on ACN's News Night anchor Will McAvoy over reports about his personal life that have appeared in tabloid magazines and his former relationship with his Executive Producer MacKenzie McHale. He also links McHale's new boyfriend Wade Campbell's political ambitions to his appearances on News Night and questions McHale's journalistic ethics. Maria unsuccessfully tries to stop him. News director Charlie Skinner calls him in the middle of his tirade and threatens to fire him if he does not cut to commercial. Hart meekly complies.
Guerrero later asks her friend, News Night booker Gary Cooper, to apologize to Will on her behalf. Will accepts the apology and tells Gary that he recognizes that she tried to stop Hart. ("Amen")
