Kenneth B. Roth is an American television director. He is a First Assistant Director for the first season of The Newsroom. He alternates the role with Mark Tobey. He began his career as a production assistant in film, eventually becoming an assistant director. He worked on the films Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, 21 Grams, Old School, and Bad Santa.

He became a First Assistant Director for television beginning with the HBO series Deadwood, which was created by David Milch. Roth won the Directors Guild of America (DGA) Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Dramatic Series Night as part of the directorial team of Deadwood. He returned as First Assistant Director on Milch's next series John From Cincinnati. He returned to HBO to work on Big Love and Hung. He has also worked on the series Monk, Swingtown, Lie to Me, United States of Tara, and The River.
