Episodic Producer is a crew position in television. It is a senior role for a producer answering to the Executive Producers. They supervise the production's budget and scheduling working closely with the Unit Production Manager. They receive the "Produced by" credit. For The Newsroom this role has been filled by Charlie Goldstein for the pilot episode "We Just Decided To" but he was credited as a Supervising Producer superseding the "Produced by" credit. He was replaced by Co-executive Producer Denis Biggs for the first season from "News Night 2.0" onwards, again obviating the "Produced by" credit.
